Commuting along Bengaluru’s busy RV Road Bommasandra corridor has become easier with improved bus access to Namma Metro’s Yellow Line stations. To strengthen last-mile connectivity, several BMTC bus stops near metro stations have been newly added or repositioned.

After commuters pointed out difficulties in reaching certain metro stations by bus, Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Ltd partnered with Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation to reorganise bus stops along the route. The objective is to reduce walking distances and ensure a smoother transfer between bus and metro services.

Important BMTC Routes and Service Timings

Multiple BMTC routes operate from these bus stops, providing extensive city connectivity. Key routes include 600-F (Banashankari), 201 (Srinagara), 500-A, 25-A (Kempegowda Bus Station), 368, G-4, and V-365.

Bus services begin as early as 4:36 AM. At Jayadeva Hospital, Route 500-A starts around 6:05 AM and 6:15 AM. Other routes such as 500-CA and 500-CF run throughout the day, with 15 to 30-minute intervals during peak hours.

Namma Metro Yellow Line Train Timings

Metro services on the Yellow Line operate daily between RV Road and Bommasandra from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. The first train departs RV Road at 6:30 AM, while the last train from Bommasandra leaves at 10:42 PM.

During peak hours, trains run every 12–15 minutes, while off-peak intervals range from 15–25 minutes. Since timings may vary slightly by station, commuters are advised to check station displays or the official Namma Metro app for real-time updates.
